Fading

We alter ourselves all the time,
There's no room for imperfections,
You need to be smooth, perfect, plastic
We're fading...
A result of seeing too much lately about plastic babes, botox given to kids. We end up being this "photoshopped" version of ourselves.
I think we kind of fade.
Made with graphite pencils.

Only the ones with no essence fade... The others use their features (and ''imperfections'') to stand out and be unique. :) Like you are.
I always prefer a bit of texture ;)
unfortunately... it´s so crazy. cameras getting more and more definition with all those pixels and photoshop ruining it erasing all the expression and detail. it´s very contraditory...
I think it would be easier to accept yourself today if the standards weren't so polished and "perfect". Another thing is also this "never get old" trend, I just don't understand why we as humans create all these horrible ideas that is quite unrealistic. We set ourselves up to failure.
