Waiting for daddy

This little girl is my adorable niece. She's finally at an age where she
can pose a bit and it's amazing. She's such a beautiful girl with
expressive eyes.
I had her posing looking out the window the last time I visited and the photos turned out really great with the way the shadows fell and her glance.
I hope I can use her a lot for my future work.
I imagine this little girl waiting for her daddy to come home after a long day.
It was a great exercise getting back to portraits. I recently had a lovely commission of an elder man and it really sparkled my portrait mood.

Now, this is the kind of drawings I love the most. You captured her amazingly. Just.... WOW! She does look like she's waiting for someone. Maybe her dad, maybe Santa on the Christmas eve... =) Beautiful!
I read someone else saying the same, waiting for Santa :) Appropriate for the next drawing I am working on with her being Christmasy :)
=) I bet it will be awesome. You have a great model.
I do, she's getting cuter every year. I just spoke to her on the phone, such a cutie =)
Wow gorgeous Zindy! Pretty girl and drawing :)
