New eraser pencil

Last week when we went shopping for art supplies I found this awesome new tool; an eraser pen in the form of a mechanical pencil. It’s probably the best buy in a long time. A few years back I had an eraser pencil, which you would sharpen like normal graphite pencils. This one has the advantage of not breaking when you try to sharpen it. I’ve only tested it briefly but so far I love it. I think it will be a perfect tool for graphite pencil drawings and I will be testing it on a drawing very soon.

The eraser pencil is from the brand Tombo, measuring 2mm in with (eraser).

Hi Zindy,

that is a cool little tool! We have eraser pens in the US, but i have never seen one with such a small eraser. I'd be interested to know the brand name to see if I can find it online somewhere. Would you please share the name or make of this. Thanks bunches!! ;-)

that's great, Zindy! I've been looking for a long time for one like that but there's not that much art supplies here in Portugal, it's a pity you can only find one brand of decent paper and two of pencils and nothing else :(
I can't wait to see how you'll use it! ;)

Christine, the brand is Tombo, Mono Zero (Elastomer Eraser). You are lucky to live in the US, I hear they have a lot of large artstores - sounds like heaven to me =)

Ester, it's pretty much the same here, not a lot of different products, they seem to have the same brands and only at a limited range :/
I'd love to be able to try more things out too.

Thanks Zindy! We are very fortunate to have so much available to us here in the US. It is easy to forget sometimes that others don't have that luxury of abundance in art supplies. Thankfully the internet makes things a little easier these days to find stuff online for everyone. It is fun though to browse a store locally and find what you are looking for.
Thanks again for letting me know the name! :-) Christine
